This is one of my favorite Django/Grappelli compositions! So sweet, so beautiful, mesmerizing. I remember listening to Django and Stéphane playing this driving in the backseat of my parent’s car made me feel safe and blissful! Of course we’re not Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli but I do feel that we really captured the mood of the original in this performance! I might be playing with the Rosenberg Trio and Bireli Lagrene on the 25th of june in Samois; can’t wait, a dream come true!
