And I just bought a CD that I want on my ipod so I’m trying to get the CD on it from a different iTunes (the one on my laptop) is this possible? How do you do it? I don’t want it to erase all the songs I have and replace it with the ones on my laptop.

Im worried that when I connect it and then access the transfer program, itunes will automatically start transferring, and because the library is empty, it will clear the ipod.
